Serve up kindness one hot dog at a time! This project, led by Salt Students, involves providing free hot dogs to residents right here on the House of Bread Church campus. On the day of the event, the team will grill, assemble, and serve hot dogs with warmth and kindness—helping people feel loved, seen, and cared for. It’s a meaningful way to connect with the community and spread joy through food and friendly conversation.

LEADER Erik Muzichuk DESCRIPTION

Salt Students will take part in a hands-on project to care for God’s creation by cleaning up trash along the American River Trail—a simple but meaningful way to serve our city and make a visible impact in the community. Students will meet at House of Bread Church, and a church van will provide transportation to and from the trail. Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Just bring comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and a heart ready to serve!

LEADER House of Bread Church DESCRIPTION

Help refresh and restore the church grounds as a tangible act of stewardship and love for God’s house. This project involves giving the property a deep clean, both inside and out. Volunteers will take part in landscaping tasks such as pulling weeds, trimming plants, sweeping walkways, and picking up litter. Inside the building, teams will disinfect high-touch surfaces, clean restrooms, vacuum, dust, mop floors, and organize common areas. Whether it's scrubbing, sweeping, or sprucing up the space, every task contributes to creating a clean, welcoming environment for all who come through the doors. This is a great way to serve behind the scenes and bless the church community with excellence. This is for foundry students .

LEADER House of Bread Church DESCRIPTION

Create a peaceful space where people can stop by to receive prayer, encouragement, and support. A tent will be set up on the House of Bread Church campus during the Serve Day garage sale and car wash, offering a welcoming place for anyone needing a moment of care, a kind word, or someone to pray with them. This team will help bring hope and peace to those who stop by.
